During the Spring 2016 semester Robert Weant, Ben Sullivan, Matthew Hawkes, Will Blackwood and Mikayla Gibbes, students in Appalachian State University's Chapter of the National Association for Business Economics, initiated the "High Country Economic Indicators" Report. The economic indicators followed are several that are important to the High Country economic including demographics, education, employment, and tourism.
